Accidents of chance
Meeting forfeit
Right door, not left
Star unborn

Ants
Workaholic Alfred Ant
Strongest bug in hive
Mental virtues fairly scant
Will the Ant contrive:
Although simple all alone
Genius comes alive
Little workers clone by clone
Look, the neurons! Skive the hive!
No tomorrow (if there were)
If there were no tomorrow,
what would you have still unsaid?
If forever were past tense,
which promises would never be kept?
which dreams would never be fulfilled?
how many lives would prove unlived?
If you died, right now,
what would be your legacy;
of unchecked boxes,
of unemptied buckets,
of soons, of tomorrows, of lost reminders and forgots?
If there were no tomorrow,
what would you do?
Do you?
Walled garden
Deafening silence
Eye-catching darkness
blinds me
Shell-shocked
by deafening silence
